7 weeks

This past Wednesday, Lilly turned 7 weeks old. I can't believe it is going so fast! I don't have much to update but thought I would write anyway and put some pictures up. Lilly is getting bigger and showing more of her personality each and everyday!


First, this was taken today before nap time. Wyatt is becoming such a great big brother! Up until this point he hasn't really concerned himself with Lilly too much. He wanted to hold her and just wanted to love on her! So sweet! And I just love the look on Lilly's face! By the way sorry for the quality of some of the pictures they were taken on my iPhone.

Lilly had her first smile last week. This is one of the few I caught on camera. She was laughing at her Nani.

Wyatt was having a movie night. I popped popcorn and he loved it! He thought he was something else!

We woke up Friday morning to this! What a way to start the day!

Luckily the only damage that was done was some scratches on the truck and it ripped off the side mirror. It could have been much worse!

This week will be my last full week of maternity leave:( I have really enjoyed staying home. But back to the "real" world. Lilly will have her two month shots on Monday (the 7th) and I go back on the 8th. Luckily the next week is spring break. So I only have to work 4 days and then get a week off!

6 weeks

Well Lilly is 6 weeks old now. I'm really enjoying my time with her and getting to know her little personality. I think she is starting to look more like Wyatt did. I'm dreading going back to work, because I will miss my days home with her. We are starting to settle into a routine. She has slept really well. (Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself!) She will sleep about 7-8 hours at night now. Which is great! I did babywise with Wyatt and am doing it with her as well, although I started a little bit later this time. We went back to have her hearing tested again and she passed this time so the fluid is clearing up. Thank goodness, that means we won't have to go to the ENT and get tubes right now. I had my 6 week check up yesterday and everything is great! Dr. McMinn just loved all over Lilly! This picture is from Valentines Day! I wish I had gotten a picture with her and Wyatt together but he's kind of hard to catch these days! I'll try to get a picture of him for my next post.
