Lilly's Dedication

Last Thursday night Lilly was dedicated at church! Our church does dedications a little differently because it is so large. They do a special service just for the dedication about 4 times a year. We were in the largest group yet! There were about 50 babies dedicated that night. So they split up the group into two services Thursday night. It was so great! I love these special memories we are making and it was wonderful to dedicate Lilly to the Lord and dedicate ourselves to raising our family up in the Lord. My Mimi and Grandad came up and they took this picture when they got there. By the way these pictures are all from my Grandad! Of course, I forgot my camera at the house and I wouldn't have been able to take pictures anyway.

This is the dress Lilly wore. My mom made it and it was absolutely gorgeous!

Getting ready at the church. Mimi and Grandad gave Lilly a cross necklace that she wore.

During the service. The bow didn't last long :)

This is when we went up front with her. Chip, our pastor, prayed with us and for us.
Mimi and Lilly. This is a special picture because Lilly is named after Mimi. Both of their middle names are Claire.

Special little girl.
The family.
I have to say that Lilly did great during the service considering it was after her bedtime. Wyatt did well also. However, he got sick during the service and started running a fever. He was quite clingy at that point. He is feeling better now though. Overall it was a great night!

The Fair 2011

This past weekend we went to the Mississippi State Fair. We went last year and Wyatt loved it even though he couldn't ride too much. This year he had just as much if not more fun because he could ride more because he was taller. Thomas has set a goal for him to grow 4 inches before next year. First for a rare shot of me and Wyatt. Usually I am the one behind the camera.

This was right after we got there he was so excited and couldn't wait to start riding!

And now for my big girl, she did really well riding around in the stoller.

Wyatt loved the Fair food!

Maybe next year Lilly! Ha Ha! She was happy with the snacks I brought her.
This was the first ride Wyatt rode and he loved it. He is still kind of obsessed with trains.
This was his first big boy ride ever! He absolutely loved it! He's my little daredevil.
Wyatt getting suited up!
Waiting his turn.....
....and jumping!
This is how Lilly ended the day!

This was the last thing we did the big slide!

And the end!

Until next year anyway!
