All in One

This is one of those all in one kind of blog posts so that I can catch up! It is a little bit of everything. Life has been so busy lately that I have not had time to blog. First of all, we went to Thanksgiving at my parents' house in Centreville. We enjoyed it so much! All of my dad's siblings were there and a few of us cousins were there too. The kids enjoyed playing with each other a lot! I didn't get a chance to get any pictures because Lilly kept me pretty busy that day.
When we came back up to Jackson, we had our Elf Breakfast. I think this will become a yearly tradition for us. Wyatt loved it. The morning our Elf, Chesty, showed up he brought a special breakfast from the North Pole. He brought "Snowballs" (powdered donut holes) and Hot Chocolate with marshmallows. Wyatt loved it! He also loved the letters that Chesty wrote to him and Lilly! Here are some pictures from our Elf Breakfast.

We also made homemade Christmas ornaments one day!

Another thing that I wanted to write about is the fact that Lilly turned 11 months old today! I can't believe how fast this year has flown by! She is now walking and into everything. We are in the process of switching to whole milk and she is almost ready to get rid of the formula. (Thank you Lord!) She is such a big girl now I can't believe I have an almost 1 year old!
I'll try to do better about posting more!

Happy 10 Months!

My Lillian Claire is now 10 months old! I can't believe we are almost at a year! This time has flown by and she is such a joy! At 10 months old Lilly is cruising around and is starting to take steps on her own! She is a good eater and we are in the process of moving from a bottle to a cup. She weights 21 pounds and is about 27 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile. She is starting to talk more she says mama and dada and baba. She still saves her best smiles for Wyatt. Wyatt and Lilly are playing more together. Lilly's little personality is coming out more and more. I can't wait to see what's next for her!

Halloween 2011

We have been really busy lately so I haven't been able to blog lately so I'm trying to catch up. We had a really fun Halloween. Wyatt has been talking about it since October 1st so he was ready! First of all the weekend before Halloween we carved pumpkins. We had two big pumpkins and 2 little pumpkins. So we had a complete pumpkin family.

Wyatt with one of the little pumpkins he and Thomas carved.

Wyatt and Lilly with the pumpkins.
My pretty girl with her pumpkin.
Wyatt dressed up as a firefighter this year. Forgive the cheetos on his mouth! The bandaid is from daycare he fell that day.
And my happy little bee.
Wyatt picked out Lilly's costume and I didn't realize they color coordinated so well! Ha Ha!
On our Trick or Treating run around the neighborhood.
Wyatt broke into the candy during Trick or Treating.
This is about half way through. She hit her limit.
Toward the end, Wyatt got brave and wanted to go up to the doors by himself. I guess he is getting to be a big boy.
Overall, a successful Halloween!

Lilly's Dedication

Last Thursday night Lilly was dedicated at church! Our church does dedications a little differently because it is so large. They do a special service just for the dedication about 4 times a year. We were in the largest group yet! There were about 50 babies dedicated that night. So they split up the group into two services Thursday night. It was so great! I love these special memories we are making and it was wonderful to dedicate Lilly to the Lord and dedicate ourselves to raising our family up in the Lord. My Mimi and Grandad came up and they took this picture when they got there. By the way these pictures are all from my Grandad! Of course, I forgot my camera at the house and I wouldn't have been able to take pictures anyway.

This is the dress Lilly wore. My mom made it and it was absolutely gorgeous!

Getting ready at the church. Mimi and Grandad gave Lilly a cross necklace that she wore.

During the service. The bow didn't last long :)

This is when we went up front with her. Chip, our pastor, prayed with us and for us.
Mimi and Lilly. This is a special picture because Lilly is named after Mimi. Both of their middle names are Claire.
Izzie and Lilly.
Special little girl.
The family.
I have to say that Lilly did great during the service considering it was after her bedtime. Wyatt did well also. However, he got sick during the service and started running a fever. He was quite clingy at that point. He is feeling better now though. Overall it was a great night!

The Fair 2011

This past weekend we went to the Mississippi State Fair. We went last year and Wyatt loved it even though he couldn't ride too much. This year he had just as much if not more fun because he could ride more because he was taller. Thomas has set a goal for him to grow 4 inches before next year. First for a rare shot of me and Wyatt. Usually I am the one behind the camera.

This was right after we got there he was so excited and couldn't wait to start riding!

And now for my big girl, she did really well riding around in the stoller.

Wyatt loved the Fair food!

Maybe next year Lilly! Ha Ha! She was happy with the snacks I brought her.
This was the first ride Wyatt rode and he loved it. He is still kind of obsessed with trains.
This was his first big boy ride ever! He absolutely loved it! He's my little daredevil.
Wyatt getting suited up!
Waiting his turn.....
....and jumping!
This is how Lilly ended the day!

This was the last thing we did the big slide!

And the end!

Until next year anyway!

Happy Birthday Wyatt!!!!

Today we had Wyatt's 3rd Birthday Party! I cannot believe that he is 3 already! Wyatt is such a sweet boy at three. He's a little rambunctious at times. He is also very smart. I was talking to his teacher Friday and she was shocked to hear that he was just now turning three. She said that he is ahead of some of her kids that have been 3 for a couple of months! He is learning so much! Anyway, he has been obsessed with tractors for a couple of months so we decided to have a tractor party. He loved it! It culminated in him getting a ride on tractor with a w

agon attachment from me and Thomas. His face lit up when he saw that tractor! We had to drag him inside tonight. He rode it all afternoon even in the rain!

Here is Wyatt with his tractor cake!

Can you tell he's excited?

He got lots of tractors, a hunting outfit, John Deere hat, and a Cars scooter.

Singing Happy Birthday!

Hopefully, I will get some good pictures of him on the tractor in the next couple of days! This is the only one that was not a blur!

Circus!

Last Saturday, we went to the circus. We enjoyed it so much! Wyatt was asking the entire week if today was circus day. So you can imagine how excited I was Saturday morning to tell him yes today was circus day. He most enjoyed the elephants, horses, camels, and motorcycles. This is a picture of him in his circus hat!

Mama and Wyatt before the show.

Wyatt took this picture of Thomas being silly before the show.

After the show, Wyatt was pretty cranky because the show was at nap time. This was on the way home.

And 5 minutes later . . . . . . . .

Time Flies! 7 months!

I can't believe our big girl is 7 months old! Time is going by so fast! Lilly is such a sweet girl! She is learning new things everyday. She can now crawl and get into a sitting position by herself. She can sit for quite a while unsupported. Lilly will be pulling up and standing on her own before we know it! You can really see her trying to process how to pull up and it's so fun to watch her. She still only has two teeth but she is working on more. She has been teething forever! I swear I think she will have like four pop through at once! She has a great little personality and it's so fun to see it emerging. She loves to laugh and is a very happy baby. She is sleeping well except at daycare. She just can't go to sleep with stuff going on around her (just like her brother!). Lilly is very much a daddy's girl already! She has him wrapped around her little finger! Every time she giggles Thomas just lights up! I guess I'll have trouble on my hands later on! Ha Ha!
